I've never had a brazilian wax before. Is it painful?
Like any type of waxing, there is some pain associated with a brazilian wax. However, most first-timers tell us that their wax was in fact less painful than they expected. Skintreet uses hard wax, which is less invasive than other types. And know that if you continue to get brazilian waxes at fairly regular intervals, they will become less painful over time.
How long should hair be?
Hair should be at least a half inch long for waxing. As our esthetician Leanne like to tell clients, "When you think it is long enough, wait another week!"
Can I get a brazilian if I am pregnant?
Yes, definitely. Just be forewarned: it will be a little more painful.
Can I get a brazilian at 'that time' of the month?
Yes, you can. Just wear a tampon as normal and expect the waxing to hurt a little more than usual.
Are Skintreet's estheticians skilled in brazilian waxes?
Yes, yes, yes! At Skintreet, the brazilian wax is a very popular service and we have a lot of experience with them. Clients (especially new clients) always compliment our estheticians on their skill and professionalism. We are focused on cleanliness and ensuring that you feel comfortable during the service.
